Resmi Malko

Resmi is one of Central’s Ballet Tutors, teaching Second and Third Year students Ballet and Pas de Deux Repertory. In addition, he coaches students for international competitions, such as Prix de Lausanne, BBC TV’s Young Dancer, and the Genée International Ballet Competition. In 2017 one of Resmi’s students won three Gold at the Genée International Ballet Competition. He is also a Career Adviser and helps students find jobs and seek out career options in the dance industry.

Resmi trained at Ballet Training at the National Ballet Academy of Albania. After receiving his qualification, he joined the National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Albania and within two years was promoted to Principal Dancer. He has performed extensively internationally. In 2003, Resmi graduated from the Teacher Training programme for professional dancers at Canada’s National Ballet School with Distinction and joined their Artistic Staff. He has also been Ballet Master for New English Ballet Theatre from 2012 to 2013. Resmi regularly teaches at schools in the UK, Europe and internationally.
