Half Term Courses Return in February

This February half term Central School of Ballet will host a variety of one day dance courses for children aged 4 – 16 of all abilities. The courses will run from Tuesday 14 February until Thursday 16 February.

The Audition Preparation Day for dancers aged 14 – 16 years provides the opportunity to hone technique and develop understanding of the application process for those preparing for professional training auditions. The day will focus on classical ballet with dancers also taking part in Improvisation classes. This will take place on Tuesday 14 February.

Central’s series of one day ballet intensives return on Tuesday 14 February (8 – 10 years) and Wednesday 15 February (11 – 13 years). These one day courses include classes in Ballet and Repertoire as well as an additional class in Choreography, providing participants with the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the experience of training at Central, a world-leading professional training organisation.

On Wednesday, children aged 4 – 7 years are invited to join Central for a Beatrix Potter themed Ballet and Arts & Crafts Workshop. Participants will learn repertoire inspired by the tales of the celebrated British children’s author and create a craft project based on the theme.

This half term the Dance Around the World course will take dancers on a dance through time with styles including Lindy Hop, Disco, and Ballet. The day is open to dancers of all abilities aged 8 – 16 years.
