Central Celebrates World Ballet Day

World Ballet Day, Wednesday 1 November, marks the official launch of a new film, offering the public insight into life at the world-renowned Central School of Ballet. The film, created by Flett Films and Tambrisk Pictures, introduces audiences to Central with views of the studios, rehearsals, and performances as well as interviews with Artistic Director, Kate Coyne, and the students themselves.

In an interview portrayed in the film, Artistic Director, Kate Coyne, explained: “My vision for Central is to have a School which really, genuinely is what the industry is looking for. Technique is the fundamental core of what we do; All the tutors know their students individually and can help them with that bespoke support.”

For students considering training as an undergraduate at Central School of Ballet, the film offers the chance to learn more about the school and catch a glimpse of the state-of-the-art facilities situated in London’s South Bank arts community.

The full film is available to view on the school’s social media channels as well as on YouTube.
