Natasha King

Natasha works with tutors to manage all assessment processes and student progression. As part of the Higher Education team, she works with the Learning Development Manager to deliver the undergraduate contextual studies curriculum, and is responsible for reviewing and managing Central’s Quality Assurance systems.

After a brief performing career in ballet and contemporary companies, she obtained an MSc (Distinction) in Dance Science from University of Bedfordshire, with a focus on Nutrition and Dance Psychology in dance education. With over 17 years’ experience as a dance educator, she upholds Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance, and currently maintains an active research profile in the dance science community. Her involvement in delivering on health programmes for Centres for Advanced Training, and as a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS), combine her passions for dance education, science and research.

Natasha joined Central in 2019 as Learning Development Manager and in 2022 took on a new role as Head of Studies.
