entral School of Ballet was co-founded over 40 years ago by Christopher Gable and Ann Stannard whose vision was to offer ballet training that nurtures artistic individuality and technical excellence.
Today we continue to honour that vision by delivering exceptional conservatoire-level training at degree level, vocational programmes, and community initiatives that all champion diversity and inclusivity.
Your gift will help us build on this remarkable legacy.

Legacy FAQs

• A Residuary Gift: which is all or a specified percentage of your estate, or what remains after other specific requests have been made. • A Pecuniary or Cash Gift: which is a fixed amount of money that can be linked to inflation so your gift keeps its value. • A Specific Item: such as jewellery, a piece of art, or a property.
If you have already written your Will and would like to add a gift to Central School of Ballet, your solicitor can help you create a Codicil. This acts as an addendum which lists minor changes or extra gifts to your original Will.
You’re more than welcome to state how you wish your gift to be used. However we recommend that gifts remain unrestricted so we are in the best position to ‘future proof’ Central for the benefit of all.

One of our first legacy gifts was the Gillian Fleet Legacy named after its benefactor Gillian Fleet whose ambition to be a dancer was disrupted by the Second World War. But her passion for dance lives on through our Fleet scholarships and one of our main practice and performance spaces, the Fleet Studio.
