Central offers series of free ballet classes to boys aged 8-10 years

As part of a drive to encourage more boys into dance, Central is offering boys aged 8-10 years the opportunity to take part in a series of free ballet classes. The classes will take place on three consecutive Friday evenings from 8th October to 22nd October 4:30-5:30pm in Central’s purpose built, state-of-the-art studios in Southwark.

This series will offer attendees a foundation in classical ballet in a fun, interactive and informative series of practical classes led by one of Central School of Ballet’s Junior School teaching faculty, Phillip Page. Students will be exposed to the joy of ballet, get moving and make new friends in a friendly and inclusive environment. Classes are accompanied by an experienced pianist and also include games to develop awareness of rhythm and musicality.

If boys wish to continue ballet classes after the series ends, they can join Junior School classes for the second half of term (Friday 5 November to Friday 3 December 2021) for a reduced fee of £25 for 5 lessons.

To book onto the free classes, please email juniorschool@csbschool.co.uk providing the child’s full name.
