Central Announces Dance Teacher Professional Networking Event

Dance teachers from around the country are invited to take part in the Dance Teacher Professional Networking Event at Central School of Ballet on Thursday 17 November. The day, specifically relevant to dance teacher professionals who support students into vocational training, is designed to provide expert advice t0 dance teachers from all parts of the UK delivered by Central’s artistic staff.  Teachers will learn more about Central’s approach to professional dance training delivered through its degree courses and the opportunities for aspiring dance students to progress through Central’s Associate Programme.  This is will also be dance teachers’ first chance to see and experience Central’s new premises, The Countess of Wessex Studios, in Southwark.

 

The day will focus on pointework and preparation for pointe with an opportunity to watch Central undergraduates in action including selected Ballet Central repertoire in progress for next year’s tour. Teachers will also meet Central’s Artistic Director, Kate Coyne, to hear more about the school with an opportunity to ask questions about professional dance training at Central and the destinations and job potential of Central’s graduates.  A tour of the school’s new state-of-the-art facilities is included.
