Ballet Central Winter Showcase – Thursday 9th December 5:00pm

Join us for Ballet Central’s first performance, a Winter Showcase, in Central’s new Studio Theatre in Southwark. Ballet Central, the touring company of Central School of Ballet, will perform four shows over two nights, 8th and 9th December (5pm and 7.30pm). This is a chance to see the talent, artistry and skill of this young dance company before their annual tour next spring.

The company will perform extracts from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera. Then there’s a chance to see Mikaela Polley’s new work, bringing classical ballet and contemporary dance together in a celebration of the dynamism of the ensemble. Finally, renowned Central graduate Mthuthuzeli November (dancer and choreographer with Ballet Black), has created a short piece that demonstrates his distinctive choreographic voice. Not to be missed!

Address: Gable Studio Theatre, The Countess of Wessex Studios, 21 – 22 Hatfields, Paris Garden, London, SE1 8DJ
