Tom Cruise seen alongside Central as they filmed on the South Bank

Calendar Posted 15 January 2018

On Saturday morning Tom Cruise could be seen running across the roof of the rail bridge at Blackfriars in London. The dramatic stunt was for the new Mission: Impossible film and was captured by a film crew in a helicopter with hundreds more on the bridge and in buildings nearby, Tom Cruise in Blackfriars stunt. The activity stopped road traffic on the bridge and boats in the Thames below. Meanwhile, just 200 metres below on the South Bank, Central was also filming. We were videoing dancers from the third year, making the most of the space near Central’s planned new home in the South Bank area. Part of a four day shoot, the soon to be released film will tell Central’s story and the plans to move to the Southwark community. It was very exciting for everyone involved, if a little cold on a grey January day alongside the Thames.
