Central students perform at Christie's event

Calendar Posted 10 October 2018

Last Wednesday eight Second and Third year students performed at The Contemporary Art Party hosted by Christie's and Vanity Fair.

The dancers performed contemporary pieces choreographed by Contemporary and Choreography Tutor Leanne King, Central 2018 graduate Natasha Chu and the students themselves.

The dancers performed in the VIP section of the party which is one of the most exclusive events during London Frieze Week. The event was an opportunity for guests to view post-war and contemporary-art and participate in the auction of these works.

Central is committed to facilitating collaborative projects with our students and external organisations. These opportunities expose students to other art forms and offer an opportunity to consider the setting of work. Often led by student's own creative work, they allow artistic freedom to present and perform their own ideas.
