Central student perform in festive JLee Productions events

Calendar Posted 18 December 2018

Last week, several of Central's second and third year students performed at three festive JLee Productions events.

The first event was at Devonshire Square, as part of the 'Art for Love' 2018 Christmas festival. The dancers performed a 'Sleeping Beauty' inspired piece, choreographed by Jenna Lee.

The second performance that day was at a corporate Christmas event. The LED ballerinas collaborated with a violin duo to entertain the guests.

Two students also took part in a surprise LED ballerina performance at a pop-up fashion store in SOHO called KITRI. JLee Productions collaborated with Jam Deluxe Studio for the hair and make-up for this event.

Jenna Lee, Choreographer says, “Performance opportunities such as these equip Central students with vital professional performance experience in a variety of environments. This versatility is encouraged and expected of the students in their third year as members of Ballet Central and in their careers as professional dancers afterwards.”
