Central Preps & Pre-Seniors begin their training!

Calendar Posted 25 September 2017

On Saturday, Central's Preps and Pre-Seniors had their first day of training this school year.

Students aged 11-16 and their parents took part in a full day of talks, seminars and classes at Central. These included a talk on pointe shoes led by an expert from Freed Shoes of London and talks on healthy dance practice and physical differences in dancers led by One Dance. Sarah Daultry led a class on the Franklin Method and all students met their tutors for the first time.

Central Preps and Pre-Seniors programme consists of Saturday classes for aspiring dancers aged between 11 and 16 years. The programme is intended for students considering pursuing a career in the performing arts and is designed to compliment their regular training and Senior School study.
