Central dancers to take part in Prix de Lausanne Choreographic Project

Two of Central’s Senior School dancers have been selected to attend the Prix de Lausanne later this month to take part in a brand new choreographic project. Nell Maude and Callum McGregor, both in the second year of Central’s three year BA degree programme, are among the 51 students from around the world chosen to learn a new piece titled Pulse created by the renowned choreographer Goyo Montero for this special occasion. The young dancers have just eight days to learn this new work which will then be performed at the Prix as a world premiere. Created in 1973, the Prix de Lausanne is an annual international competition for young dancers aged 14 to 19. Its goal is to discover, promote and support the world’s finest dance talents.
