Ballet Central performs for elderly in Chelsea

Calendar Posted 26 January 2018

Yesterday afternoon, Ballet Central dancers performed at a classical concert for local elderly people and their friends in Chelsea.

Following on from Ballet Central's wonderful reception at last year's event, this free performance took place at the Holy Trinity Brompton Church in Onslow Square, and was attended by hundreds.

The audience saw an exclusive preview of the forthcoming Ballet Central 2018 Tour, which included extracts from Wayne McGregor's FAR, Kenneth MacMillan's Valley of Shadows and Jenna Lee's Black Swan.

The performance also included extracts from The Nutcracker and featured Shizaru, a work choreographed by third year Central student and Ballet Central dancer, Natasha Chu.
