Ballet Central launches appeal to find stolen costumes

Calendar Posted 10 May 2018

Yesterday Central launched an appeal to find the stolen Ballet Central costumes and equipment, using the hashtag #findourcostumes.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning 8th May, Ballet Central’s tour vehicle was stolen from its secure premises in Farringdon, central London, resulting in the loss of many production items including lighting, sound equipment, staging materials, props and costumes.

The Metropolitan Police were immediately informed and are supporting Central in trying to retrieve lost items. Plans have been put in place to replace everything that was stolen so that the remaining Ballet Central 2018 tour dates will proceed as planned.

The story was covered on The Telegraph online, on ITV London news and BBC Radio London
