Central School Of Ballet

One Day Ballet Intensives

One Day Ballet Intensives are aimed at children aged 8-16 years, who meet the standard requirements for the chosen course. The days are centered on Ballet, including Pointe (if applicable, and subject to age and ability) and Repertoire. The courses also include an additional class such as; Pilates, Contemporary and Improvisation, giving participants the chance to become fully immersed into a day at Central.

This October Half Term, Central hosted One Day Ballet Intensives for 8-10 year girls, 11-13 year girls and 14-16 year boys and girls. These courses provided first class training in Ballet, alongside Boys Coaching and Pointe, where applicable. In addition, classes in Creative Choreography and Jazz were also delivered. The 8-10 years were also given time for a Question and Answer session with two Ballet Central dancers, whilst the 14-16 year course provided the opportunity to watch Ballet Central in rehearsal, offering further insight into full time vocational training and beyond.
