One Day Ballet Intensives

One Day Ballet Intensives are aimed at children aged 8-16 years, who meet the standard requirements for the chosen course. The days are centered on Ballet, including Pointe (if applicable, and subject to age and ability) and Repertoire. The courses also include an additional class such as; Pilates, Contemporary and Improvisation, giving participants the chance to become fully immersed into a day at Central.

May Half Term 2019

This May Half Term, Central hosted One Day Ballet Intensives for 8-10 year girls, 11-13 year girls and 14-16 year girls. These courses provided first class training in Ballet, alongside Strengthening for Pointe and Pointe classes, where applicable. In addition, classes in Jazz and Improvisation were delivered, amongst classes in Repertoire, learning choreography from well-known Ballets such as Don Quixote and Coppelia.

All May Intensive Course participants were offered the chance to watch Ballet Central perform in rehearsal, inclusive of time to ask any questions that they had.
