Half-Term Courses

May Half Term 2019

During May Half Term Central hosted a range of One Day courses for 4-16 year olds.

The courses included One Day Ballet Intensives focused on Ballet, with additional classes in Jazz and Improvisation. On Wednesday, a One Day Ballet Course for 4-7 year olds was held, centred on the story of Thumbelina, with arts and crafts sessions exploring the theme further. Thursday lay host to a day of Musical Theatre for 8-13 year olds, learning choreography and song from the musical Annie. Both the 4-7 years and Musical Theatre participants had the opportunity to share the work they had learnt to family and friends at the end of the day in a spectacular display of song, choreography and story-telling.

Many Course participants and their family and friends also had the chance to watch Ballet Central in rehearsal at the end of the day, with time given to ask any questions that they had
