Course Outline

A strong foundation

For aspiring dancers between 11 and 16 years the Pre-Senior Programme will help you to prepare for a future performing career.

The programme is made up of Saturday classes designed to complement your regular training, and your classes will run alongside the Senior School course.

Course experience

Students are split into classes for boys and girls, with further grouping by age and ability.

The programme includes:

Ballet
Contemporary
Pointe work
Repertoire
Pilates
Creative dance

As a Pre-Senior student, you will also have the chance to perform in the end of year performances alongside Senior students at The Unicorn Theatre.

A natural progression

Our Pre-Senior programme offers invaluable preparation for full-time dance training. Many Pre-Senior students move into Central’s Senior School – and other leading ballet and dance schools – once they reach 16. The programme is taught by Central's elite staff of teachers including the School's Director and former Royal Ballet Principal Bruce Sansom.
